Last week, for the Gruffalo Class Wide Reward, Sarah Tindall came to meet the Gruffalos and told us all about Space and the Universe. The children learnt lots about stardust and had a fab afternoon. Thanks Sarah for an insightful and interesting afternoon.

Plant a tree at Walkley

Last week the children at Walkley had the opportunity to plant trees at the entrance to the school and between playgrounds in the KS2 playground. The children really had a great time and worked very hard.

Twas the Week Before Christmas

Santa comes to visit the Gruffalos

How exciting!! Santa has just left the Burnaby building in his shiny sleigh; Rudolph replenished after a carrot gift from ES in Gruffalos.

First, we woke him up - so tired was he from busy Christmas preparations.

Next, we sang him a song 'Lift up your glasses'.

Then, we received some fantastic gifts.

After saying goodbye to Father Christmas we went back to class and, with Santa's permission, opened our gifts...

Thank you Santa!!
