'That Poetry Bloke' meets the Gruffalos!
Today our Y2s got to meet
a clever poet - oh what a treat.
Craig Bradley 'That Poetry Bloke'
sang songs and told a good joke.
The children and staff rolled with laughter
cause we'd never seen anyone dafter!!
Thanks so much Craig for a fantastic day!
Take a look at some poetry dynamite!!

Nativity DVD
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you for coming to see and
supporting our Nativity last Friday.
We had an amazing turn out of adults
in such horrible weather. In case you
missed it you are in luck!
We have recorded our Nativity onto DVD
and will be selling copies for £5 in a full DVD case designed by one of our
artists in Gruffalo base.
This year it also has separate
chapters showing the Elmers, Seashells, Anansies and Bears singing.
If you would like a copy please contact the class teacher by Thursday 20th December
so they can be made in time for Friday 21st December.
Thank you
Walkley Primary School KS1 and EYFS
team.

Break a leg!
Hello everyone - just a reminder about the KS1 Christmas Nativity performance tomorrow.
Did you know, the children had their picture taken by a photographer from the Sheffield Star today. Shortly after the Dress Rehearsal the children put on their cheesiest smiles and posed for the camera.
The photo will be in next Tuesday's Special Nativity Edition of the Sheffield Star.
I'll be sure to place a link on this blog but what a lovely souvenir for you to keep of the Y2s in action.
See you tomorrow
(A little nervous!!)
