Dinosaur Hunters

Dinosaur Hunters but we're not going to eat it!

Earlier today the Gruffalos received a message from Mrs Sian with some alarming news. Here it is:

Firstly, the children accepted the commission to attempt to find the dinosaur and decided on a name for their team...

Next, the children thought we should look at a map to 'find all the places we need to look'.
Then we set out to find the dinosaur, recording any clues we found on the way. These are some of the things the children saw:

stock-piled grass for food
discarded food

What could have bitten through this wire?

3 pronged dinosaur prints!

Dinosaur footprints - could this be a print from a baby dinosaur?

Finally, on our dinosaur hunt, we found the dinosaur's nest, but we also found something else!

Eventually we went back to the Dinosaur Hunt headquarters to assess all that we had found. So is the dinosaur dangerous? Does it need our help?
